HOW TO BECOME MORE RESOURCEFUL

Maybe you never thought of resourcefulness as a character trait because it involves things like using duct tape to repair a lawnmower. But it's so much more than that. Resourcefulness involves the will and creativity to come up with a Plan A, or B or C all the way through Plan Z if necessary to solve problems. That's way more important than figuring out how to make a dog collar out of paper clips. In fact, as you will learn in this module, resourcefulness is a basic ingredient of most other character traits. So it's worth practicing the exercises in this module to become more resourceful. Why not give it a go?

Think of how often resourcefulness is required!

√ To accomplish something with limited resources
√ To accomplish something with inadequate tools
√ To figure out how to stretch your money
√ To come up with a creative gift
√ To repurpose an item rather than throwing it out
√ To think of activities to keep the kids occupied
√ To keep persevering by coming up with other options

Situations requiring resourcefulness happen nearly every day as you can see from the list above. Although it would be nice to always have what you need, most of the time that's not the way it works. Because of that, most people hit the wall, say "I can't" and give up after one or two failed attempts. When challenged to keep trying, too many people will say, "I'm not very creative. I have no idea what else to do." That's too bad though, because one of the best ways to be encouraged is to figure your way out of being stymied. That's a really good feeling.

Did you know you can learn to be more creative and resourceful? I can help.

Imagine your life and impact if you were a resourceful person!

The world around you is looking for, hoping for, hungry for people they can count on to be resourceful. You will have so much more impact if you're kind of person about whom people say, "Ask him (her). They're the kind of person who always comes up with a solution." Has anything important ever been accomplished without resourceful people, people who say, "Let's keep trying. There's got to be a way." Guess what?

....I can show you how to become that kind of person.

There's no magic bullet that transforms you overnight. But there is a path, a path of insight, discovery, steps and practice. I take you on that path in this module. Check out the path and what you get below.

GREAT FOR FAMILIES...
I've got seven kids. We've homeschooled them all. We have been going through the "Ways to Improve Your Character..." course with all of them together. The videos are so well done and helpful. It's been the most valuable family process we've gone through. I highly recommend it!

MEN'S GROUP...
Can anyone argue against the value of having men of character at home, work or in the marketplace? I used this course in a small group. The men were encouraged and challenged by its clear call to improving their character. We loved working through it together. A great bonding experience.
